Topping off anti-freeze across a service bay means moving coolant to the locomotive, not the other way around. The Blue SteelCo Coolant Pump Cart puts the tank, pump, battery, and charger on one rolling steel frame so one person can fill where the unit sits.
Specifications
- 12-gauge steel construction with all-steel brackets
- Fork pockets for lifting and repositioning by forklift
- 900 lb capacity casters with 2″ x 8″ wheels; swivel casters include brakes
- 5 GPM 12-volt pump
- 12-volt deep draw battery in a built-in battery box
- On-board battery charger, so the cart is ready at the start of each shift
- 15′ of 3/8″ PVC hose with a built-in hose hanger
- Emergency ball valve shut-off at the tank
How Shops Use It
The cart lives in the diesel shop and rolls to whichever bay needs coolant service. The braked casters hold it in place on shop floors, and the fork pockets let a lift truck carry it between buildings or load it for road-crew support. Like all Blue SteelCo shop carts, the frame is welded steel, made in the USA, and powder-coated for shop conditions.
